What are the differences among wildlife sanctuary National Park and Bio- reserves.
Answer : Sanctuaries, national parks and bio-reserves
are established for the protection of wildlife. All these 3 words sounds like
synonyms but there are some differences.

1. National Parks refers to a region
that is specifically reserved for the preservation of biodiversity and
wildlife. 2. National Park is established
through the coordination of state and central government. 4. There is complete ban on animal grazing. 7. National Parks can not be Degraded to sanctuaries.
8. Kaziranga, Corbett, Velavadar, Marine
National park, Gir, Dachigam, Simlipal etc. are important National parks. |

Bio-reserve
A Biosphere reserve is a protected area reserved
for the conservation of endangered species of Flora and Fauna. It is a place that preserve wildlife, landforms and
waterways while providing appropriate public use and enjoyment of a natural
environment.
It is
formed according to international norms. This programme was initiated by UNESCO in
1971.The purpose is to protect the physical and cultural diversity of any region.
Besides all vegetation insects and land of the area the lifestyle of the people
living there is also protected.
