Ans: i) A democratic government is a better government because it is a more  accountable form of government. 

ii) Democracy improve the quality of decision- making. 

13) Give any two Demerits of Democracy? 

Ans: i) Leadership keep changing in  a democracy. This leads to instability. 

ii)  So many people have to be consulted in a democracy that it leads to delays. 

14)  What does ' Multiple cropping' mean? 

Ans: To grow more than one crop on a piece of land during the year is known as multiple cropping. 

15) What are the factors of production? 

Ans : There are  four factors of production - Land, Labour, Physical capital and human Capital.
