Description 

 Al-Balakhi was an Arab geographer. He collected climatic data from the Arab travellers and made the first climatic atlas of the world.

The name of first climatic atlas of the world was  Kitab-ul-Ashkal.

Meaning of climate

Climate is the sum total of the weather conditions such as - temperature, atmospheric pressure, winds, humidity, precipitation,etc prevails over a large area for a long period of time. Generally about 30 to 40 years.

It is a broad term which includes all weather phenomenon. Sometimes we consider it as equal to weather but both weather and climate are different. Weather is the part of a climatic condition. So, the term 'Weather ' should not be confused with climate.

Akbar Nama and Ain-i- Akbari

 

Akbar Nama - An account of Mughal emperor Akbar's work written by Abul fazl to pass information regarding his achievements and policies to the future generation 

 

Who was the writer of Akbari Nama

Author: Abul Fazl

Akbar Nama is a written work by Abul Fazl in 16th century.

Abu'l fazl was one of the Nine jewels of Akbar’s court, wrote Three volume history about the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar. Akabari Nama was completed by Abu'l fazl in six to seven years. He had started the writing work in 1589 and finished by 1596.

About the Book:

The Akbar nama was the official record of the third Mughal emperor Akbar. It was written in Persian language which was also the court language of Mughals. The Book was Inspired the BaburNama. The book AakbarNama also known as the Book of Akbar.


The Book AkbarNama written in Three volume.

Volume I

Dealt with Akbar's ancestors. The events relating Akbar’s Birth, Childhood life are covered under this first volume.

 

Volume II

The Second volume gives a comprehensive details about the events during Akbar' reign . All his  battles are also included in this volume.

 

Volume III or Ain-i-Akbari

The third Volume was also known ae Ain-i- Akbari. It dealt with Administrative system of Mughal emperor Akbar. It  covers up the renowned “ Account of the Hindu Science “. It is further divided into five parts.

Part I Manzil- Abadi   speaks about the Imperial household and it’s maintenance.

 Part II Sipah- Abadi deals with the military and civil issues.

Part III is about the judicial and executive matters.

Part IV includes information about customs, traditions, science, literature and Hindu philosophy.

Part V contains moral principles of Akbar.
